About the Evans Family
Ben and Lois set the date.
We are the Evans’ Family living in rural Illinois. We have a real love for missions and missionaries. We are involved in missions on the local level at Grace Baptist Church of Ottawa, Il. Jim pastors and leads the the church, and Melony is involved with children’s ministries, music, and ladies’ ministries.
Jim is a hunter, golfer, fisher, skier, and enjoys spending time working on his yard and garden and hiking at Starved Rock State Park.
Melony is a home-school mom and enjoys cooking, reading, sewing, decorating, and playing with her children and grandchildren.
Jim and Melony are the parents of eleven children and eight grandchildren. They especially enjoy spending time with the family walking, biking and traveling.
Jesse (21) is in Los Angeles at present teaching in the Youth With a Mission School of Biblical Studies. We wanted to update quickly for you about Jesse.
Jesse and Becca Collies (also a missionary with YWAM) were married on August 22 in Virginia.
Lois and Ben have set their wedding date for October 10th!
Ben is a member of Fellowship Baptist Church in Jackson (where Hillary and Terry attend).
Chelsie (20) is presently preparing to take some training with YWAM in LA in the fall. She just finish working at Pine Trail Camp for the summer.
